GETTING READY TO TALK ABOUT A PICTURE

CHRISTINA and TRIS

1. FIRST PARAGRAPH: INTRODUCTION

• Start saying something like "This is a picture of the film Divergent' and then say who they are and the faction where they belong and why you have chosen them.

Eg: This is a picture of the film Divergent and these are Christina and Tris, two of the main characters in the film Divergent. Christina is a transfer from Candor to Dauntless. I have chosen her for my description because I think she's quite funny and a very honest girl, and you know what? I really value honesty! and I have decided to talk about Tris because she's the protagonist and a very brave girl.

2. SECOND PARAGRAPH:  DESCRIBE WHAT YOU SEE: THE PEOPLE AND THE OTHER ELEMENTS

• Talk about her age, height and her physical appearance.
• Talk about other people, the place, the objects...

Use the following language:

I can see...
On the right... on the left...in the middle....in the background. 

they are sitting, they are talking
they are wearing a grey costume
they have got, he has got black hair...
....

Example:

Cristina and Tris are sitting at table in the middle of the picture. They're probaly having lunch.
They're 16, Cristina is middle height and has got short, dark, straight hair. She's looking down. Tris is tall and has got long, blond, straight hair and she's looking at Cris. They seem to be talking...They're both wearing a black costume, which all the people who belong to Dauntless, have to wear.  In the background, I can see other people having lunch...

3. THIRD PARAGRAPH: PERSONALITY

• Talk about some of their personality traits. 

Eg.: She's very loyal and supportive with her friends. Moreover, she always tells the truth...
